The next month promises to showcase the very best the region has to offer.

“During 2012, the Hunter Valley attracted more than 2.2 million domestic and international overnight visitors who spent a combined $1 billion during their stay, enjoying the wide range of quality experiences available in the region.”
Now in its sixth year, the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month offers food and wine aficionados the chance to wine and dine with leading Hunter Valley winemakers and chefs and to take part in an array of fun and interactive classes to fine-tune their culinary skills.
Organised by the Hunter Valley Wine Industry Association, the 2013 Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month is proudly supported by the NSW Government through the Destination NSW Regional Flagship Events Program.
Destination NSW CEO, Sandra Chipchase, said “In January this year, the Hunter Valley was named one of the world’s top-ten wine travel destinations by the US-based Wine Enthusiast magazine.
“The Award recognises the extraordinary quality of vineyards in the Hunter, which visitors can enjoy during the Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month.”
The 2013 Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month features more than 80 events and encourages visitors to sample world-class wines and produce from Australia’s most historic family wine region.
