Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer, Sandra Chipchase, has welcomed the announcement.

“STARS represent the best of the best within Sunlover Holidays’ extensive network of agents and we’re delighted to host these top performers and have them experience first-hand the array of experiences New South Wales has to offer,” said Ms Chipchase.

STARS’ rewards Sunlover Holidays’ highest-achieving travel agents, with a representative from each of Sunlover’s top 85 agents from Australia and New Zealand, participating in the program.

The event will be held from Saturday 1 June to Wednesday 5 June, 2013. The STARS will be split into four groups visiting Blue Mountains, Byron Bay, Sydney and the Hunter Valley. The groups will reunite in Sydney for the remaining two days with the program culminating at the spectacular Vivid Sydney.

AOT Group CEO, Andrew Burnes, said he was delighted that STARS 2013 will be held in New South Wales.

“This will be the first time we have held the event in New South Wales and we are looking forward to showcasing the varied destinations on offer in this beautiful State as well as showing our top performers Sydney with a difference,” said Mr Burnes.
