Major events such as Vivid Sydney play a key role in the NSW Government’s Visitor Economy Strategy 2035, which aims to grow the state’s visitor economy to $91 billion over the next decade.
Vivid Sydney 2026 took place from 22 May until 13 June 2026. Over 23 nights, Vivid Sydney transformed the CBD into a showcase of Light, Music, Minds and Food.
Vivid Sydney 2027 will be held from 28 May to 19 June, with the program dates shifting slightly from previous years to better align with the timing of the June public holiday.
