Campaign overview
Destination NSW is rolling out a bold new marketing program to position regional NSW as Australia’s most immersive and diverse visitor destination.
The Feel New Regional Marketing Program will showcase unique stories, landscapes and experiences from across the state, launching with a series of TV commercials that will air on the Seven Network’s 7plus platform from 1 June 2025.
The program will commence with the South Coast, building on the region’s recent success at the 2025 NSW Top Tourism Town Awards, where Kiama and Huskisson took home back-to-back Gold. Five South Coast local government areas will be featured: Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Kiama, Shoalhaven and Wollongong.
The initiative is part of a broader push by Destination NSW to tailor marketing activity to each region’s distinct characteristics and visitor appeal.
Workshops were held with 27 local government areas in regional NSW to consult with regional visitor economy stakeholders and identify opportunities to drive year-round visitation through bespoke activity to be rolled out via TV, social media, PR, influencer, event marketing and Destination NSW-owned channels.
The 7plus activity will run through to December 2025, with additional featured regions to include the Sapphire Coast, The Tweed, The Murray, Broken Hill, the Central West, Central Coast and Hunter Valley.
