NSW House is returning to SXSW Sydney from 14-16 October 2025, bringing three days of future‑focused panels, immersive activations and bold conversations to the festival.

The program has been designed to spark connection, inspire possibility and spotlight how the NSW Government is supporting creativity and innovation.

Among the sessions will be an in-conversation event with Bump co-creators Claudia Karvan and Kelsey Munro and a panel session hosted by The Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner on how local business collaboration can boost economies, culture and engagement.

Destination NSW CEO Karen Jones will also chair a 'Western Sydney – Where technology and creativity converge' panel session on 16 October at 12:30pm.

Panellists will include Bradfield Development Authority CEO Ken Morrison, Powerhouse Chief Executive Lisa Havilah – Chief Executive, Powerhouse and Arts & Cultural Exchange Executive Director Anne Loxley.

The conversation will explore what travellers can expect when Western Sydney International Airport opens next year, insights on Bradfield city centre's innovation hub, Powerhouse Parramatta’s upcoming program of STEM programs and how the Western Sydney Arts Plan is providing support for local creatives.

Visitors to NSW House will also hear from some of the state's best musicians and sample delicious food and drink from across NSW.

This year, NSW House will be located in the Darling Pavilion next to Tumbalong Park.
