The Destination NSW Board of Management includes the CEO of Destination NSW and the Secretary of the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport (or delegate nominated by the Secretary).
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations of Destination NSW in accordance with the directions of the Board.
Sally Loane AM - Chairman

Sally Loane is Chairman of Destination NSW, Chair of Ignition Advice and a Director of Chubb Insurance Australia and the Garvan Medical Research Foundation.
She is on the advisory board of Orizontas, a trustee for Sydney’s Hyde Park ANZAC Memorial, a global ambassador for BESydney and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Her early career was in media, followed by an executive corporate career with Coca-Cola Amatil, before being appointed CEO of the Financial Services Council.
Sally is a community and charity advocate, Governor of the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation and former patron of Lou’s Place, a women’s refuge. She mentors women through McCarthy Mentoring and the Minerva Network and formerly with the Superstars of STEM program.
She has served on previous NSW Government advisory boards for women’s economic opportunities, as well as domestic and family violence and sexual assault.
Anna Guillan AM - Deputy Chair

Anna Guillan is currently Chair of Regional Development Australia (Sydney) and the Indigenous Business Australia Darwin Hotel Partnership.
She also serves on the boards of Hammons Holdings and South
Eastern Sydney Local Health District and is a trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust.
Anna has extensive visitor economy and commercial experience and has previously held board positions with Tourism Australia, Tourism and Events Queensland, and the Australian Tourism Export Council.
She was a member of the Forum of Western Sydney Airport and part of a specialist industry taskforce established by the NSW Government to review the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy 2030.
She is a member of Chief Executive Women, co-founder of the cancer support charity The NELUNE Foundation and has been acknowledged in the Australian Honours List for her service to the Australian tourism industry and to the community, particularly for her support of social welfare and health organisations.
Emma Hogan - Board member

Emma Hogan joined the Destination NSW Board in 2022 when she was the Secretary of Digital and the NSW Department of Customer Service.
More recently, Emma left the NSW Government to become the Group Executive of Strategy, Digital and Corporate Affairs with Ventia.
Prior to joining the NSW Government in 2019, Emma had a 20-year career working with iconic Australian brands across hospitality, retail, aviation, media and entertainment.
She is an experienced transformation leader across customer, digital, people, culture and communications, and has led teams of over 13,000 people in Australia and globally.
Emma holds postgraduate qualifications in human resources and business management, is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program and holds an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors program and is the NSW Chapter Chair of Chief
Executive Women.
Anne Loveridge AM - Board member

Anne Loveridge is a highly experienced director and business leader with more than 30 years’ experience. Over the last nine years, Anne has served as a board member for highly regulated ASX-listed organisations in financial services and health sectors, as well as at arts-related not-for-profit entities.
Anne brings extensive experience in people leadership as well as audit, risk, regulatory compliance and finance skills to her governance roles.
She is the Chair of the Destination NSW Audit and Risk Committee, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women and of International Women’s Forum in Australia.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and Economics (joint honours) from the University of Reading (United Kingdom).
Clark Webb - Board member

Clark Webb is a Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung man who lives in
Garlambirla (Coffs Harbour) in the heart of Gumbaynggirr country.
Clark has been a committed learner and active teacher of Gumbaynggirr language for 18 years and is the founder and CEO of Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation (BMNAC), which commenced its programs in 2010.
BMNAC drove the opening of Gumbaynggirr Giingana Freedom School (GGFS), which opened its doors to 14 students in 2022, growing to 82 students in 2025.
Clark currently serves as a board member of NSW Aboriginal Tourism Operators Council (NATOC) and is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
As the operator of Wajaana Yaam Gumbaynggirr Adventure Tours, Clark is passionate about the growth of sustainable tourism and utilising tours as a vehicle to support cultural revitalisation and economic development in communities.
Andrew McEvoy - Board member

Andrew McEvoy has more than 30 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry.
Most recently he was CEO of the Tourism Sector at Neom, leading the creation of the world’s most ambitious destination development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prior to joining NEOM, Andrew had a distinguished tourism career including as Managing Director and CEO of Tourism Australia. During his tenure, he oversaw the development and execution of the highly successful Tourism 2020 Strategy, resulting in the doubling of national tourism receipts in less than 10 years.
Andrew has held other roles including as Managing Director of lifestyle publications and events at Fairfax Media, which included Australia’s largest consumer events business.
He chairs several travel and tourism companies including Luxury Escapes, Camplify (ASX: CHL) and is also a director of the Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) and Australia’s premier experiential tourism company, Journey Beyond.
Jodi McKay - Board member

Jodi McKay is the Director of the Australia-India CEO Forum with the Business Council of Australia, working with both governments and supporting Australian companies in their economic engagement with India.
She is a former leader of the NSW Opposition and Cabinet Minister, where she held portfolios including Tourism, Women and Medical Research.
She was Tourism Minister for the inaugural Vivid Sydney festival, the World Masters Games in Australia and Oprah Winfrey’s visit to Sydney.
Jodi was appointed by Australia’s Foreign Minister to the inaugural board of the Centre for Australia India Relations and is the past National Chair of the Australia India Business Council.
Jodi is a founding member of the Hunter Medical Research Institute and served as Chair of the Foundation of the Institute. She is a Vice Chancellor’s Fellow for Western Sydney University, focusing on bilateral education opportunities with South Asia.
Jodi is an Honorary Director of the board of BESydney (Destination NSW’s representative).
Kirsten Andrews - Board member

Kirsten Andrews has more than 20 years of experience in reputation management, communications and engagement. She is respected across both public and private sectors, with established relationships across media, government, education and business.
As the Vice President of External Engagement at the University of Sydney she has executive responsibility for student recruitment, marketing, communications, media, and industry, government and cultural engagement.
Prior to joining the University, Kirsten held senior positions in government and the not-for-profit sector, including at the National Heart Foundation, as Chief of Staff to a federal minister and Deputy Director of Communications to the Premier of New South Wales.
She is currently a Director of the United States Studies Centre, Teach for Australia and A14 Holdings.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication Studies and a Master of Public Policy. She is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Chief Executive Women.
Elizabeth Mildwater - Board member

Elizabeth Mildwater was appointed Secretary of the Department
of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport in 2022 (formerly the Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade), bringing more than 30 years management experience across customer services, legal, company secretarial, compliance, risk, management, human resources and operations.
Previously CEO of the Greater Cities Commission, she also held senior leadership roles at Transport for NSW, including Deputy Secretary, Greater Sydney; Customer Technology and Services; and People and Corporate Services.
Elizabeth’s earlier roles include Director of Australian Programs for Save the Children Australia and the Victorian Group General Manager at Transurban.
Elizabeth is passionate about stakeholder and employee engagement and using new technologies to achieve new levels of service. She serves as a Public Administration Australia (IPAA) NSW board member and company Secretary, and was appointed an IPAA National Fellow.
Elizabeth is also a member of Chief Executive Women and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Karen Jones - Board member

Karen Jones is the CEO of Destination NSW and has more than 27 years of leadership experience in state and local government.
Prior to her appointment as CEO of Destination NSW, Karen was CEO of the Office of Sport, where she led more than 400 employees across 18 locations to set the state’s sport policy agenda and provide direct services to communities.
This included leading several key initiatives such as the ‘10 World Cups in 10 Years’ campaign alongside Destination NSW, the Office of Sport’s Strategic Plan 2024–2028 and the implementation of two women in sport strategies.
Karen is passionate about developing and marketing the state’s world-class visitor experiences to ensure NSW remains Australia’s top destination and events capital.
