Destination NSW is supporting Aboriginal-owned and -operated NSW sellers that provide Aboriginal tours or experiences to attend Focus On NSW on Monday 16 March 2026 at the Intercontinental Sydney Coogee Beach.
Focus On NSW: UK & Europe, North America and New Zealand is a structured trade event and familiarisation program that will bring travel buyers (wholesalers, retail agents and online travel agencies) from the United Kingdom, Europe (France & Germany), North America and New Zealand to NSW.
Aboriginal Trade Event Support
What support is available for Aboriginal owned businesses?
The Aboriginal Trade Event Support initiative, delivered by Destination NSW, includes support for up to five Aboriginal owned NSW businesses to attend Focus On NSW 2026 as sellers.
What is included?
- Focus On NSW registration fee of $1,800 (inc. GST),
- Return airfares from the nearest regional airport to Sydney (if applicable) for one delegate
- Two night's accommodation on Sunday 15 and Monday 16 March 2026 at the Intercontinental Sydney Coogee Beach
- Hosted breakfast event on Tuesday 17 March 2026
All other costs including transport, meals and beverages not outlined in the program, and any additional delegates (including their flights and accommodation), are the responsibility of the applicant.
Who can apply?
Aboriginal owned-and-operated visitor economy businesses registered on Supply Nation that operate an export-ready Aboriginal-led tour or experience in NSW, can apply.
Applicants must also meet the Focus On NSW eligibility criteria.

Up to 5 participants will be selected. If the number of applicants meeting the Aboriginal Trade Event Support terms and conditions exceeds the maximum of five places, Destination NSW has the right to apply any or all of the following;
- Take a first in, best dressed approach based on the date and time of submission.
- Assess the mix of category and geographic coverage of visitor experiences to ensure a balanced representation.
