The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC), in partnership with Destination NSW, will deliver Explore NSW in Sydney from 25–26 August 2026.
The event will include scheduled business appointments between ATEC buyer and seller members, and a range of networking opportunities. Businesses can choose to participate in both days of appointments, providing access to Eastern and Western market buyers, or attend a single day focused on one market.
Destination NSW is offering access to ATEC 2026 New Product Pathway Packages as part of Explore NSW & ACT.
The ATEC 2026 New Product Pathway Package enables businesses that are new to ATEC to participate in the Explore NSW event for the first time, helping them develop and strengthen relationships with key distributors to support business growth.
The ATEC 2026 New Product Package includes Destination NSW support of $1,000 + GST per eligible business towards participation in Explore NSW and ATEC associate membership. Depending on the participation package selected, the total package value, Destination NSW support and applicant contribution are:
1. ATEC membership + Explore NSW (Both Eastern and Western market B2B appointments)
- Total package value: $2,363.64 + GST
- Destination NSW support: $1,000 + GST
- Applicant contribution: $1,363.64 + GST
2. ATEC membership + Explore NSW (one market B2B appointments – either Eastern or Western)
- Total package value: $1,854.55 + GST
- Destination NSW support: $1,000 + GST
- Applicant contribution: $854.55 + GST
The packages complement the NSW First Program delivered by Destination NSW.
New Product Pathway Package inclusions
The ATEC 2026 New Product Pathway Package provides new NSW sellers with:
- Access to the ATEC Explore NSW 2026 event as a full primary seller delegate.
- ATEC Membership, valid from the date of membership registration until 30 June 2027.
- Access to the ATEC tutorial series.
- Access to ATEC member communications.
- An introduction to the ATEC NSW Leadership Group to help build industry networks.
The ATEC New Product Pathway Package will support up to six NSW businesses that are not ATEC members to attend ATEC Explore NSW for the first time.

If the number of applicants meeting the ATEC 2026 New Product Pathway eligibility criteria exceeds the maximum number of available places, Destination NSW and ATEC reserve the right to allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date and time applications are received.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open and close at 11:59 pm (AEST) on Monday, 03 August 2026.
Applicants will be assessed against the eligibility criteria and notified of the outcome following the EOI closing date. Successful applicants will then be provided with a link to complete their ATEC Explore NSW 2026 registration.
