The Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW has celebrated the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals at its 2025 Awards of Excellence, held on Wednesday, 20 November, at the W Sydney.

Bringing together 200 members to celebrate, the event recognised excellence across the state’s caravan and camping, land lease living and manufacturing sectors, highlighting the innovation, customer service and community commitment that underpins the industry.

This year’s Max Elsley Award for Commitment to a Stronger NSW Industry went to Stephen Edwards, owner of Parravans in Windsor, recognising his decades of service, leadership and advocacy across the sector. Stephen’s long-standing involvement with CCIA NSW and his ongoing dedication to lifting professional standards has earned him deep respect among his peers.

The Association’s long-term General Counsel, Bob Browne was inducted as a Life Member, acknowledging his years of contribution and dedication to advancing the industry and supporting the organisation’s mission.

Top honours across the Business Awards included:

  • Tweed Holiday Parks Pottsville South - NSW Holiday Park of the Year (Less than 100 sites - above)
  • Tasman Holiday Parks, Racecourse Beach - NSW Holiday Park of the Year (More than 100 sites)
  • Reflections Forster Beach Holiday & Caravan Park - NSW Holiday Park Innovation Award
  • Tweed Holiday Parks Fingal Head - NSW Holiday Park on Crown Land Award
  • Avida Motorhomes and Caravans - NSW Manufacturer of the Year
  • Bold Trailer and Caravan Repair Centre - NSW RV Repairer of the Year
  • Jayco Newcastle - NSW Trade Dealer/Retailer/Wholesaler of the Year
  • Smarttek Pty Ltd - NSW Industry Provider of the Year
  • Clifton Yamba - NSW Land Lease Community of the Year
  • Ingenia Lifestyle Element - NSW Land Lease Community Innovation Award

Employee awards recognised the talent and commitment of individuals shaping the industry’s future, including:

  • Kara Hilleard (Tasman Holiday Parks Ballina) - Employee of the Year, Holiday Parks
  • Melissa Booker (Hometown Australia) - Employee of the Year, Land Lease Communities
  • Kasey Bass (Bold Trailer and Caravan Repair Centre) - Employee of the Year, Trade

The next generation of leaders was celebrated through the Young Achiever Awards, presented to:

  • Tayla Wilson, Manning Point Holiday Park
  • Mandy Ma, Hometown Australia
  • Jessica Ovington, 4K RV

Team excellence was also recognised across all sectors, including:

  • Reflections Marketing Team
  • Hometown Glenfern
  • Off Grid Outfitters

CEO Wayne Lange congratulated winners and acknowledged the dedication that continues to drive the industry forward.

“These awards recognise the people and businesses who not only deliver exceptional experiences for their customers, but who lift our industry through innovation, leadership and collaboration,” Mr Lange said.

“While tonight’s winners are rightly celebrated for their achievements, they represent a field of outstanding finalists and entrants whose work continues to raise the bar.

“The strength of our sector lies in the resilience and passion of the people and businesses within it, and it’s inspiring to see so many members contributing to an industry that helps more Australians enjoy the freedom of the outdoors.”
