Destination NSW has launched a new campaign in partnership with the Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW to boost year-round visitation to the state’s 400 holiday parks.

The month-long Feel ‘More, Live More’ campaign is driving awareness of experiences on offer in autumn, winter and spring. Developed as an extension of Destination NSW’s Feel New brand, ‘Feel More, Live More’ supports the sustainable growth of regional visitor economies.

The campaign is already showing strong momentum, with CCIA NSW website traffic increasing by 250 per cent in the week following its launch.

The latest Tourism Research Australia data shows NSW was the number one destination in Australia for domestic overnight caravan and camping visitors, nights and expenditure from July-September 2025.

There were a total of 1.3 million domestic overnight caravan and camping visitors to NSW during the quarter, who stayed four million nights at holiday parks and camping areas across the state.

Minister for Jobs and Tourism Steve Kamper said: “The caravan and camping industry plays a pivotal role in achieving the NSW Government’s ambitious goal of $91 billion in annual visitor economy expenditure by 2035.

“Caravan and camping holidays offer immersive regional experiences that deepen connections with nature, culture and local communities, encouraging repeat visitation to our state.”

Destination NSW CEO Karen Jones said: “It’s no surprise that NSW is number one for caravan and camping holidays. From Ballina to Bathurst and Sofala to Shoalhaven, our state is filled with coastal treasures and untouched landscapes that enhance NSW’s appeal to both domestic and international visitors.

“Destination NSW is proud to be partnering with the Caravan and Camping Industry Association to highlight immersive experiences across the state and is committed to continuing to support the sector and the valuable contribution it makes to growing the visitor economy.”

Caravan & Camping CEO Wayne said: “In NSW, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to caravan and camping, with holiday parks across the state offering something for every traveller, from simple back-to-nature stays to premium escapes.

“You can choose to fully switch off at a rustic unpowered site or feel the luxury and comfort of a glamping tent. There are cabins, tiny homes, glamtainers, and premium ensuite accommodation - you really don’t need to leave NSW to experience an unforgettable holiday.

"With Easter fast approaching, now is the time to lock in a long weekend escape. The coming months are the perfect time to explore the state’s amazing destinations, from the Snowy Mountains to the coast, the outback to the hinterlands, with holiday parks offering unrivalled access to everything that makes NSW so special.”

The campaign will be in market until 4 April 2026, on TV in NSW and on social and digital channels in regional Victoria, ACT and Southern Queensland.
