The Destination NSW Annual Report 2023-24 has been awarded Bronze at the 2025 Australasian Reporting Awards.
The report was honoured in the Public Administration – State category and was also one of three finalists in the Online Reporting category.
The Destination NSW Annual Report 2023-24 provides a summary of the agency’s activities and performance, showing how public resources were applied during the reporting period.
It highlights achievements and initiatives that were undertaken during the financial year ended 30 June 2024 to support the growth and sustainability of the NSW visitor economy.
Australasian Reporting Awards were introduced in 1950 as the Annual Report Awards to improve the quality of annual reporting in Australia and raise public awareness of the purposes of organisations and their achievements.
Subsequently the Awards were expanded to include organisations in New Zealand and renamed the Australasian Reporting Awards. The Awards are now open to organisations located in the Asia Pacific region.
The Awards are administered by Australasian Reporting Awards Limited (ARA), an independent not-for-profit that aims to provide organisations that produce an annual report with an opportunity to benchmark their reports against the ARA criteria, which are based on world best practice, and their peers.
Destination NSW congratulates the Audit Office of NSW on winning the Public Administration State category in the 2025 Best of Industry Sector Awards.
The 2025 Report of the Year was won by Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation.
