The Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce has announced that nominations are open for the Western Sydney Tourism Awards 2026, celebrating excellence and innovation across the tourism sector in Southwest and Western Sydney.

The Awards Night will be held on 16 October 2026. As Western Sydney enters a transformative year with the opening of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport and airline ticket sales already underway, the region is firmly positioned on the global stage.

The 2026 Awards will recognise outstanding achievement across a wide range of categories, including hotels, music and arts, bars, leadership, tourism businesses, accessible tourism, major events and tour operators.

Chair of Western Sydney Tourism Fazila Farhad said: “Now in their third year, the Western Sydney Tourism Awards bring together the champions of our industry to connect, celebrate excellence and proudly showcase our region to both local and international markets.”

The awards provide an important platform to acknowledge the individuals and organisations driving growth, creativity and inclusion in Western Sydney’s tourism economy.
