NSW Tourism Association has announced the finalists for the 2026 NSW Top Tour Guide Awards, recognising the outstanding individuals who bring NSW's destinations, stories and experiences to life for visitors every day.
The awards celebrate the professionalism, passion and expertise of tour guides across the state and acknowledge the critical role they play in shaping memorable visitor experiences.
Finalists represent a diverse range of tourism experiences, from Aboriginal cultural tourism and nature-based adventures to food, wine, outdoors and wellness experiences, showcasing the depth and quality of guiding talent across the state.
NSW Tourism Association CEO Natalie Godward said the awards shine a spotlight on some of the tourism industry's most dedicated professionals.
"Tour guides are often the face of our visitor economy,” she said. “They create connections, share stories, inspire curiosity and help visitors develop a genuine understanding of the places they visit.
"These finalists represent the very best of our industry. Their knowledge, professionalism and passion not only enhance the visitor experience but also contribute significantly to the reputation of NSW as a world-class tourism destination.
"We congratulate each finalist on this outstanding achievement and thank them for the important role they play in delivering exceptional tourism experiences across our state."
The NSW Top Tour Guide Awards are delivered by NSW Tourism Association in partnership with Tour Guides Australia, supporting the ongoing development, recognition and professionalism of the tour guiding sector.
Tour Guides Australia President Greg Esnouf said the awards continue to showcase the importance of professional guiding in Australia's visitor economy.
"Professional tour guides are storytellers, cultural ambassadors and experience creators,” he said.
“They help visitors connect more deeply with destinations and leave a lasting impression of Australia.
"We are proud to continue our partnership with NSW Tourism Association and congratulate all finalists on their achievement. Their commitment to excellence reflects the high standards and professionalism that underpin quality visitor experiences."
