Australia and New Zealand’s leading exhibition and conference for the hotel and accommodation industry, NoVacancy, will return to ICC Sydney from 23-24 September 2026.

The event will bring together more than 6000 hotel and accommodation professionals and showcase the technology, design concepts, operational advancements and commercial opportunities redefining the sector.

The NoVacancy 2026 agenda will feature nine summits and more than 80 free sessions. Topics will include hotel technology, marketing, revenue and distribution, sustainability, design, leadership, people and culture, future leadership and small hotel operations.

Discussions will explore subjects such as artificial intelligence, connected hotels, revenue management, sustainability, direct bookings and the changing guest experience.

The 2026 speaker program features senior hospitality and tourism figures from organisations including IHG Hotels & Resorts, STR, Accor, Travel Weekly, Reflections Holidays and NSW Tourism Association.

Destination NSW CEO Karen Jones will join a discussion on geopolitics and the accommodation outlook, alongside Accommodation Australia CEO James Goodwin and Tourism Australia Executive General Manager, Strategy and Culture Rob Dougan.

The NSW Government aims to unlock more than 40,000 new accommodation rooms across the state to support the NSW Visitor Economy Strategy’s ambitious target of $91 billion in annual visitor expenditure by 2035.

NoVacancy will also include 200 expo exhibitors and networking opportunities.
