The Australian has given its verdict on the best new venues NSW in its annual Hot 50 Restaurants issue.
From a quick steak and chips, a long lunch with a serious wine list, or seafood in the sun - the list includes nine Sydney venues and one in Byron Bay.
The Australian's Hot 50 Restaurants issue will be released on 20 March and celebrates what’s new, vibrant, intriguing or brilliant in the country’s culinary landscape.

Vineria Luisa is hailed as having the best lasagne in Sydney, while the Sesame Sazerac cocktail at Grandfathers is described as making a "strong play for the year’s best cocktail".
