Travel + Leisure has announced the results of its 2026 World's Best Awards, revealing the destinations, hotels, airlines, cruise lines and travel experiences that earned top honors from readers around the world.
With insights from more than 207,000 of its readers, the annual survey offers a snapshot of the places, brands and experiences resonating with travellers.
Travel + Leisure Editor in Chief Jacqui Gifford said: "This year's rankings showcase a mix of exciting newcomers and enduring favourites. The winners reflect travellers' interest in destinations that feel distinctive, memorable and deeply rooted in place."
NSW received several accolades, with Sydney attracting the highest city destination score in Australia (87.78).

Four Sydney hotels were voted best in Australia and New Zealand: Capella Sydney (score: 96.89), InterContinental Sydney (score: 94.31), Park Hyatt Sydney (score: 94.0) and Four Seasons Sydney (score 91.42).
Capella Hotels & Resorts was also named Best Hotel Brand in the World.
