Sydney has been ranked ninth in the world on Trip.com’s Global Top 2026 Global 100 – Must-visit Destinations list.

Trip.com is an international travel service provider, available in 27 languages across 48 countries and regions.

Curated using a blend of data analysis, user reviews and human expertise, rankings on the Global 100 – Must-visit Destinations list are based on search demand, booking volume and positive reviews.

Winners were announced during Trip.com’s Envision.2026 conference.

Held at Shanghai Concert Hall, the event brought together 3500 attendees from 78 countries and regions – including travel leaders, tourism boards, airline and hotel partners and creators – to explore emerging opportunities and the evolving future of travel.

Destination NSW Regional Director, North Asia Jennifer Tung (above) accepted the award at Envision.2026.
