Vivid Sydney is set to captivate locals and visitors from around the world from 23 May to 13 June 2026 and local businesses are encouraged to be a part of the Southern Hemisphere’s leading multi-artform festival.
The Vivid Sydney Local Business Program is an opportunity to join the festival’s vibrant community and tap into the increased visitation presented by Australia’s largest festival.
Participating businesses can showcase products, services and experiences, illuminate building facades and harbour vessels or enhance their shopfronts with Vivid Sydney assets.
Last year Destination NSW partnered with more than 400 businesses as part of the program, enriching the global cultural festival that draws millions to Sydney and boosts the state’s visitor and night-time economies.
Businesses that join the program receive access to a range of benefits, including promotion on the Vivid Sydney webpage, a free digital toolkit with creative assets to use in their marketing campaigns and LED screens and window decals.
Last year, Vivid Sydney welcomed 2.5 million attendees and generated $164 million in visitor expenditure. More than 85 per cent of Vivid Sydney attendees also purchased food and/or beverages.
Data from property analytics provider CoStar shows Vivid Sydney 2025 helped to deliver Sydney's highest May hotel occupancy since 2019.
According to CoStar, occupancy peaked on Saturday, 31 May at 89.1 per cent thanks to the festival.
Expressions of interest for the Vivid Sydney Local Business Program can be made here and close on 3 April 2026.
