Eden’s 2025-26 summer cruise season concluded this week, with Norwegian Spirit making the final call of the season into the port.
Norwegian Spirit accommodates approximately 2000 passengers, with more than 660 people disembarking for shore excursions during the ship's visit. Around 96 per cent of passengers went ashore to explore the Sapphire Coast town and its surrounds.
Over the past 12 months, Eden has welcomed more than 50,000 cruise passengers from Australia and around the world, delivering strong outcomes for local businesses, communities and the regional economy.
As the southernmost deepwater harbour in NSW, Eden continues to play an important role in supporting cruise tourism and the state’s growing visitor economy.
Cruising supports the entire ecosystem of the NSW visitor economy. Cruise visitors don’t just stop at the port – they stay, they spend and they often return. That’s particularly valuable for regional destinations, where cruise tourism can drive long-term visitation and local investment.
The first arrival in Eden for the 2026-27 cruise season will be Celebrity Solstice on 9 November 2026.
