Destination NSW has a dedicated specialist team that supports Aboriginal businesses, individuals and communities with their tourism aspirations. The Visitor Experience team supports businesses through mentoring, one on one support, resources, webinars, workshops and in person site visits.

Training

Destination NSW Visitor Experiences team delivers the NSW First Program that supports businesses to develop, promote and sell experiences. This includes anything from cultural walking tours, art & art centre experiences, guided experiences on Country, bush tucker and native food experiences, performances, demonstrations, workshops, museums, cultural centres & keeping places, and any other tourism experience.

The Visitor Experience team as part of the NSW First program deliver face-to-face workshops, mentoring, online resources and webinars that help to develop skills and knowledge on a range of topics for Aboriginal businesses that offer or want to elevate their experiences.

Destination Networks – Destination Networks across regional NSW provide regional tourism businesses with on-the-ground support.
NSW Aboriginal Tourism Operators Council (NATOC) – Members have access to industry representation, tourism development, valuable cultural and business connections across New South Wales
