Destination NSW has released NSW visitor experiences: state of play, a new research series examining the experiences shaping domestic travel demand.
Developed in partnership with Fiftyfive5, the research provides a detailed view of the Australian travel landscape—highlighting levels of interest, demand and motivation across key experience areas, and identifying where the strongest opportunities for growth exist.
The insights are designed to support industry decision-making, providing a practical evidence base to help operators, destinations and partners align product, investment and collaboration with areas of highest demand.
The initiative comprises 10 reports covering priority experience themes, including Aboriginal tourism, agritourism, aquatic and coastal, arts and culture, journeys, luxury and wellness, nature-based, outdoor activities, social impact tourism and urban tourism.
